David Vieira is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu 1st Degree Black Belt under the legendary Carlos Gracie Jr., founder of Gracie Barra, one of the most respected and recognized Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy in the world. We are an official Gracie Barra school (Gracie Barra Pinellas) and here at DVBJJ, We pride ourselves as a family friendly oriented academy, where you can bring your family to watch or partake in classes.
Our gym is a 5,000 square foot site with over 2000 square feet of space, of most that are tatami mats. The gym is equipped with Men’s and Women’s bathrooms, locker rooms and shower. We have areas entirely dedicated to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Mixed Martial Arts and Fitness training, with a 22′ x 22′ Cage, Heavy Bags, Cardio, Strength & Conditioning Equipment.
The Academy is headed by Gracie Barra Black Belt, BJJ World Champion and undefeated Mixed Martial arts fighter, David Vieira. We offer classes to Men, Women and Children from beginners to advanced. We not only have a great program for learning Brazilian JiuJitsu and Mixed Martial Arts as a sport but we have the most progressive approach to self-defense training available today. ANYONE interested in learning self-defense, competitive fighting techniques, or seeking to achieve fitness goals should come to DVBJJ!
