Loading...Our mission at Legend Martial Arts in North Palm Beach, Florida, is to expose the public to the vastly detailed technical fighting style of Vale Tudo, known more popularly in the United States as Mixed Martial Arts. The concept of MMA has been around for centuries but only in the past few decades has it been dissected and studied in detail.
Legend Martial Arts is a base for professional fighters, fighting enthusiasts, those seeking self-defense training and anyone wanting to improve their physical conditioning. Our focus is centered on the building blocks of Mixed Martial Arts: Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, Boxing and Body Conditioning.
Igor “The Legend” Almeida was born in Boston, Massachusetts and raised in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. Igor is a Brazilian Jiu -Jitsu black belt under Eduardo Brigadeiro. He trained in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil for four years under Sergio Souza and Murillo Bustamante and continued his training in Florida for another eight. Almeida has been practicing mixed martial arts and Muay Thai since 2003; two of those years were at the Xtreme Couture facility in Florida. Igor has been teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for the past four years and has an MMA record of 11 wins by submission on the first round with two losses.
