Master Peña is a former member of the Philippine National Team and a five-time national champion, and a recipient of the Presidential Citation Award from former Philippine President Fidel V. Ramos in recognition of his achievements in Tae Kwon Do. Since 2002, Ultimate Martial Arts has also been a Krav Maga Worldwide official training center. Popular with the military, police, and average civilians, Krav Maga is an effective, practical system that also incorporates physical fitness techniques for an all around, total body workout.
Master Peña knows a good student is a reflection of his teacher and he owes his success to Grand Master Grand Master Sung Chon Hong, his mentor and national team coach, and Grand Master Kang Yung Sung.
With over 5,600 square feet in 3-modern state-of-the-art studios, located conveniently on Touhy Avenue in Lincolnwood, Illinois, Ultimate Martial Arts offers Tae Kwon Do programs for all ages and skill levels. Our classes are small and intimate, with a teacher/student ratio of 1:7, where each student gets individualize training and immediate feedback. In addition to group classes, our expert instructors are also available for private lessons.
