I wouldn’t recommend this place. They offer a free week of classes just as many other places here in the Wichita area I found out. But the workout class was a joke I was doing one thing for a minute then off to the next for only one minute each. The class was just unorganized. I also did the jiu jitsu class and I found that it was run in a similiar way, one day we were doing one thing then the next something completely different, simply no structure.

Hey joe, i train at Laselva MMA. You do realize that is the point of training jiu-jitsu to learn something new everyday. Also as for the fitness class, you do that so you dont reach the platau effect. I dont understand how you can say it is unorganized as in the 1 1/2 years i have been training i have never felt it has been unorganized.

It is the best place to train in the midwest with a tournament proven brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt in Marcio Laselva. an undefeated South American Kickboxing champion in Marcio Navarro. I guess you can always go train at Janjira(that place is unorganized more than anyone else) or maybe the hole in the wall gym they call Beat Down Boys. Laselva MMA is 24-4 in MMA fights and have won numerous jiu-jitsu and grappling tournaments

I tried the different gyms in town and without a doubt this gym on a different level than the others. Don’t bother listening to reviews from people who likely didn’t even come in to give the gym a try. Go and decide for yourself. They do offer a free week so give it an honest try and also try out the other gyms and see what is the best fit for you.

For me, Laselva MMA is the place to be in Wichita without a doubt.

These guys are the real deal. I came to Wichita on business expecting an average gym. I was impressed by the instruction, facility, and Marcio’s credentials and style. I am blessed to have been able to train with this team. From my experience, I would recommend Laselva MAA to anyone serious about MMA or BJJ. Say hi to Amorphous for me.

My son started taking classes with Laselva, and I was so impressed that I too have started taking classes. This place is the real deal, and the people here are helpfull as well as knowledgable. As far as the training goes, it is tough, but well laid out and explained and always hands on. If there is a better way to train/be trained, I havent seen it. Anyone giving a bad review to this place simply doesnt understand what it is all about, or didnt really want to work.
