Loading...The Mankato MMA/Judo club lays claim to being one of the oldest student organizations on campus at the Minnesota State University at Mankato. What began years ago as the campus Judo club has grown to incorporate other disciplines to reflect today’s modern competitions of MMA. To meet the challenges of this exciting sport, we have added techniques from Brazillian Jui Jitsu, Submission Wrestling, Muay Thai, and Boxing. Classes are very well rounded and will provide a solid fitness base, as well as teach fundamental fighting techniques for both stand up and ground ranges. All levels of practitioners are welcome, and each semester brings in new members with verying levels of experience, from novice to professional competitor.
Current classes meet Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday at the Minnesota State University campus in Mankato, Pennington Hall, Room 104.
