We are located in Waretown, New Jersey, off on Route 9, serving several towns in Ocean County, including Waretown, Barnegat, Manahawkin, Forked River, Lacey, and Little Egg Harbor. The martial art that we teach is called “Jerry Jones Freestyle Jiu-Jitsu”, which is a grappling based, mixed martial art that teaches all of the ranges and distances of fighting and self-defense. This program has produced several “National” and “World Champions”. This means we learn how to defend ourselves on our feet and on the ground. Our specialty is in Submission Wrestling. Most other forms of martial arts like Karate and Tae Kwon Do, for example, teach only how to defend yourself if you are able to keep the fight on your feet.
Our school is considered by many experts throughout the country to be one of the best martial arts schools for grappling and mixed martial arts. Although our school is know to help make many of our students national and world champions in martial arts, it is our goal to make our students champions in life as well. Our school’s positive and informative atmosphere helps produce integrity driven, confident, and disciplined individuals that have a desire to help others better themselves.
