Founded on the principles of respect, mental focus, and self-discipline, the dojos (schools) have grown to more than 800 students. With locations in Pitman, West Deptford, and Swedesboro, New Jersey, the Okinawa Kenpo Karate Academy is led by Shihan Brian DeGoriand Kyoshi Ronnie Dargan. We offer Private Lessons in Mixed Martial Arts, Muay Thai, Krav Maga,Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Krav Maga, Non-Deadly Force, Grappling (jiu-jitsu), Pilates, Tai Chi and Capoeira.
The Pitman school is led by Senseis Charles Walker, Ryan Sickles and Amanda Cosgrove. All three instructor have been training with Shihan DeGori for over ten years. Mr. Walker is a retired Chief of Police and holds the rank of Yondan (4th Degree). Mr. Sickles and Ms. Cosgrove have both been traing since they were around the age of five and both hold the rank of Yondan.
