Located at Kin-Tora Martial Arts and Fitness, Nickel City BJJ is part of the world famous Nova Uniao Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu team and a direct affiliated of Cesar Rezek Alves (Third Degree Black Belt under Andre Pederneiras – Founder of Nova Uniao).
Instructor Matt Godden has been training BJJ since 2004, and has also trained Folkstyle Wrestling, Russian Sambo and Judo. Matt has competed internationally and is the only BJJ instructor in the Buffalo area still actively competing. Come train for fitness, fun, self-defense or competition. Nickel City BJJ has an active competition team as well as several recreational members.
