Loading...Fit to Fight in Charlotte, North Carolina is an affiliate of Ryan Hoover’s Extreme Karate (RHEK) in Gastonia, offering instruction in Mixed Martial Arts, Krav Maga and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Fit to Fight is headed by Jeff Jimmo, a lead instructor at RHEK. Jeff is the first instructor to ever be authorized to teach Bas Rutten’s MMA system. Jeff is also certified under Eric Paulson in Combat Submission Wrestling, and is a former national Sambo and MMA champion.
Jeff has also worked with law enforcement agencies, such as the defensive tactics instructors at the NC State Highway Patrol Training Academy, as well as Emergency Response Teams and Shift Tactical Teams. Having bounced in bars and nightclubs for a nearly a decade, Jeff became an empiricist in real world combat, and he brings his unique synthesis of formal martial arts training and real world experience to his students.
Fit to Fight is located inside Greylyn Business Park in Southeast Charlotte.

I’ve been coming to FTF for around six months now, and I go every chance I get. The classes are intense and fun. I’ve never left the facility dry. I am always drenched with sweat from a great workout. The fitness classes are intense and challenging and the Krav Maga classes are just plain awesome. Every time I walk out the door there, I feel like I’ve accomplished something.
I can’t recommend this place enough.
