Our unique principle based curriculum quickly gives you a philosophical and structural framework that took us years of beatings, experimentation, and refining to figure out. We look at Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as an art built on patience, sensitivity, intelligence, and discipline. Therefore, classes are centered around precise and direct instruction with the understanding that everyone learns at their own pace.
So just as important to us as giving students the physical and technical tools to succeed is fostering an environment that encourages mistakes (a by-product of action) and personal challenge. One of our favorite quotes that distills the importance of perseverance in Jiu-Jitsu comes from our coach Chris Haueter: “It’s not who is good, it’s who’s left!”
