The first Daddis Training Center, known as “Philly MMA”, opened in 2000 and has been providing instruction in the martial arts in the Philadelphia area with exceptional results for members: Daddis Fight Camps are the area’s best in Mixed Martial Arts.   We are here to help you accomplish whatever it is you set out to do. Whether it be getting in great shape, learning self defense, building confidence, relieving stress, or becoming the next Ultimate Fighter, we have it all!

Our Mixed Martial Arts Program allows you to come to all Muay Thai Kickboxing classes, all Jiu-Jitsu classes, all Submission Grappling classes and MMA classes. Our MMA curriculum consists of a hybrid form of martial arts, which utilizes Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Submission Grappling, Russian Sambo, Freestyle and Greco Roman Wrestling, Muay Thai Kickboxing and Boxing, the proper way to strike from the ground as well as the most effective techniques from other styles of fighting. For “no rules” scenarios, we have to be adept at everything. There are 4 major ranges of fighting… punching and kicking range, clinching range and on the ground. Our MMA program covers every range and every possible scenario from each.

I have been going to Daddis for the better part of 3 years.
I’m 46 years old ( twice as old as most of my class ) And I have always been treated with respect. It’s a great place to learn. If you miss something in class there is always someone there that you can pull to the side to ask a question or to show you a move.
    Daddis Rocks…

I trained at Daddis MMA for about 18 months but sadly had to move out of state to VA. I am currently training at another school but I didn’t realize how spoiled I was until I moved. Daddis has a great, friendly atmosphere and the training is amazing.. I love my current gym but sometimes it’s weird knowing that some of the assistant instructors over at Daddis could beat the crap out of my HEAD instructor.

Anyway.. if you are in the Philadelphia area, definitely check them out! I went to a bunch of other schools in Philly but Daddis was really the only one that had a TRUE mma program.. most were just bjj schools that tried to teach striking.
