Loading...LVIRK Training Center was opened in May 2003 by Lehigh Valley Isshin Ryu Karate, Inc. Our facility in Catasauqua, Pennsylvania, offers various types of classes, such as Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), Isshin Ryu Karate, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Boxing, and Ashtanga Yoga. We offer classes for students of all ages and ability levels. LVIRK Training Center also offers private lessons and personal training catered toward your interests and goals. Private lessons are available for Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), Isshin Ryu Karate, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Boxing, Ashtanga Yoga, Self-Defense, Grappling, Wrestling, Xtreme Martial Arts (XMA), Karate Weapons, Kendo, Pre-Natal Yoga, General Fitness, and some other specialties. We also offer an Open Gym package to train in our bag room, weight room, and boxing ring.
Our facility is located in Catasauqua, Pennsylvania (just minutes from the Lehigh Valley Mall, Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton) in a historic building that once housed the financial department for Phoenix Forge. Our facility consists of four matted workout rooms that contain a wide variety of training equipment, such as Body Opponent Bags (BOBs), Bobby Bullies, Heavy bags, speed bags, shields, and target mitts. The LVIRK Training Center also contains a weight room for working out on your own or with a personal trainer. To help you relax after a hard day’s work or a hard workout, a massage therapist awaits at The One You, located in the lower level of our facility. And when you just need a break, we have a couch to relax on with cable TV and a monitor to watch the classes in progress. We also will provide babysitting service (upon request) for our members during their workout.
Our Master Instructor Renshi Rodney Guignet has put forth a goal to be able to meet the needs of students no matter what their age or ability level. We have youth programs in Isshin Ryu Karate for kindergarten age and up. We offer teen and adult programs in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), Isshin Ryu Karate, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Boxing, and Ashtanga Yoga for any skill level.
