RGDA Tennessee is a Royler Gracie-David Adiv Jiu Jitsu affiliate academy, offering RGDA Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Submission Grappling, Sambo, NHB/Mixed Martial Arts and Kickboxing. We are located on the 2nd Floor at A Game Sportsplex in Franklin, Tennessee.

Head Instructor Greg Smith was born and raised in Philadelphia, where he started his journey into the fight world at the age of nine training in the sport of boxing at Andy Carr’s Upper darby boxing gym. He trained for several years in boxing and made plans to be a pro boxer when he was older, until one day meeting the former UFC champion Ken Shamrock. Wanting to learn more about submission fighting he turned to Gracie Jiu Jitsu. He started training at the Royler Gracie and David Adiv headquarters in Lebanon New Jersey. Greg smith competed in several tournaments eventually winning the 2008 pan ams as a blue belt. In July 2008, Greg was promoted to purple belt by professor Royler Gracie. He currently teaches for RGDA Tennessee and trains MMA with the talented welterweight Jake Shields.
