Headed by the highest ranking Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt and Only Official Gracie Humaita representative in the Houston area – multiple time world medalist and 2006 Pan American champion Leonardo “The Wizard” Xavier, the mission of the association is to promote and provide fitness, health and self defense through authentic Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction to all associated members and affiliate schools. The Leonardo Xavier Jiu-Jitsu Association is headquartered at world class LX training facility at Safety America Martial Arts Center in Sugarland, Texas. This is the LX Jiu-Jitsu Association main school and the premier BJJ program in the Houston and surrounding areas.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is for individuals of all ages and experience levels, and the curriculum designed by Leo will allow you to progress at your own pace, get in shape, gain self-confidence, relieve stress and learn to defend yourself and your family, all while having fun learning this exciting sport! Individuals can train in group, semi-private or private classes. Children’s classes are also offered, as are women’s self-defense classes.
