East Wind Academy of Martial Arts offers instruction in Mixed Martial Arts, Jun Fan Gung Fu/Jeet Kune Do, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Filipino Martial Arts, Ground Fighting/Grappling, Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido, and Maphilindo Silat.
East Wind Academy offers a top-notch ground fighting program sanctioned under both Eric Paulson’s Combat Submission Wrestling and Marc McFann’s Unified Fighting Arts. Both these organizations have developed an extremely effective blend of Judo, Ju Jitsu, Silat, Shoot fighting and western wrestling. We teach the student in a safe, controlled environment the use of sweeps, throws, locks, chokes and submissions with and without the Gi. Student may work towards ranking in either of both systems
Our MMA program is an efficient combination of our Muay Thai and CSW/Grappling/Ground Fighting programs. Whether you are looking for a tremendous workout, to develop your skills for certification or the opportunity to compete in the ring, this is a great program!
