Loading...Since 2003, World Martial Arts Training Center has been providing instruction in the martial arts in the Mobile, Alabama area through the Midtown Jiu-jitsu Club AKA Gracie Jiu-Jitsu of Mobile. We are proud to be Alabama’s official affiliate school of Professor Pedro Sauer and an accredited school under the North American Grappling Association as well.
The Midtown Jiujitsu Club is locally owned and operated by J. Patrick Langan, Jr., affectionately known as “Mr. Pat” to his students. Mr. Pat is a certified instructor under Black Belt Schools of America and specializes in teaching children. He has more that 15 years of martial arts experience and has spent over a decade teaching adults and kids. Pat has extensive training in Ghor Chor Kung Fu, and has also trained in Kempo karate, jiu-jitsu and grappling. Mr. Pat teaches a special curriculum designed specifically for children. The self-defense techniques taught are meant to be used in a realistic modern situation, when standing up or on the ground. Pat is currently a purple belt in Gracie Jiu-jitsu under his black belt instructor, Allen Hopkins.
