I have recently been visiting MMA type gyms in my area with the intent to join one of them for self defence and conditioning. One gym stood out from the rest, Dobler’s Muay Thai Kick Boxing. Just walking in off the street, I received a 20 minute tour by the owner Kru Bryan. I came back a week later for the intro class, which had 10 people in it, and boy was I impressed. 10 minutes after the class started I was throwing punches and kicking the long bag. The 1 hour class ran a little long but I was sweating big time at the end of the class. It is a pure Muay Thai gym that seems to be big on tradition.

Following the class I talked to a few students in the parking lot. To my suprise, they all have been attending between 1 and 3 years. Count me in.
