Professor Philipe Della Monica began training when he was just 13 years old at the prestigious Gracie Barra Caveirinha in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. He is an active competitor and one of the Gracie Barra’s rising young stars. The highlight of his career was when he became a European Black Belt Champion at the young age of 21. Professor Philipe has alredy collected many titles including medals in Brazilian, Pan-American, World Championships and many other titles in Brazil, Europe, and the USA. After spending some time teaching and spreading Gracie Barra Jiu-Jitsu in Europe, he moved to the USA and taught for two years at Gracie Barra America (GB’s US Headquarters) in Irvine. It was there that he received his first degree on his black belt from the hands of Master Carlos Gracie Jr. and Professor Marcio Feitosa. Charisma and teaching skills are just as natural talents to him as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. To see his discipline and passion for training and teaching is very inspiring to the whole team. Professor Philipe Decided to move forward and start a new school in Southern Orange County so he can continue spreading the Gracie Barra legacy!
