Tosh Cook is the founder and co-owner of Royce Gracie Jiu-Jitsu of Fresno. He is widely regarded as one of the top martial arts instructors in the Central Valley. His accomplishment include: 9-4 professional fight record in the WEC (World Extreme Cagefighting), KOTC (King of the Cage), GC (Gladiator Challenge), and IFC (International Fighting Championship). Teaching Credentials and certifications include: Brown Belt certified by UFC Champion Royce Gracie, 2nd Degree Black Belt in Shou Shu Karate, Certified Law Enforcement Defensive Tactics Instructor, and Level II Combatives Instructor for the United States Army National Guard.
A prolific competitor, Tosh has competed in the Pan Ams Jiu-Jitsu Championships, No Gi Pan Ams, United States Army Combatives Championships, United Gracie Championships, American National Championships, California State Championships, Copa Pacifica de Jiu-Jitsu, Grapplers Quest, International Karate Championships, World Super Grand Karate Championships, and was ranked as high as the #4 amateur kick boxer in California (IKF international rules).
Tosh has spent significant time as a sparring partner for Royce Gracie including his epic fights against Sakaraba and Hughes, and accompanied Team Gracie to Japan for Royce’s epic 2nd fight against Yoshida. As an instructor, Tosh has taught personnel from the Federal Bereau of Investigations, Department of Justice, Department of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, California Highway Patrol, Fresno Police Department, Clovis
Police Department, and Fresno County Sheriffs Department.
