Trinity Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is located in Oakland, California, just two blocks from the MacArthur BART station. We are a group of men and women who train Gi BJJ, MMA, and Submission Wrestling. Everyone regardless of age, race, sexual orientation/identity, or religion are welcome. We strive to create a very good atmosphere with wonderful people, we shop for students like you shop for a school.

We are also the home of “The Ladies of Pain”, an all female international professional fight team. The jiu jitsu program is run by Lana Stefanac, a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt, 2x world Champion, 4x PanAmerican Gold Medalist, and Number 1 Heavyweight Female MMA Fighter in the World with 3 MMA title belts in 3 different weight divisions, and undefeated in over 250 gi fights, going from white to black belt without ever being submitted or having had a point scored on her. LANA “LETHAL FORCE” STEFANAC is the owner and head trainer of Trinity Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a brown belt under black belt Randy Bloom and coaches/trains in Oakland, CA. Lana has a professional MMA record of 6-0.

Our Wrestling program is run by Division 1 Collegiate wrestler Brett Hallenbeck, and the Sambo program is run by Ben Garret.

Remember, your instructor sets the climate for your learning experience and should minimally be a brown belt (according to the International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu guidelines) and under the strict guidance of an in house black belt. A black belt in karate or tae kwon do does not mean you can teach jiu jitsu nor oversee a program, be sure your potential school is accredited, ask for belt certificates and lineage, do not be misled by people nor their false credentials! Trinity is an independant school with many friends but no politics or bad attitudes! Come and see for yourself!
