From the day the Atlanta Martial Arts Center was founded in 2002, we have grown in size and stature, but still remain committed to the task of providing students with the most practical and effective self defense training available. Our students include doctors, lawyers, musicians, teachers, corporate executives, martial art school owners and law enforcement officials.
The Atlanta Martial Arts Center is a multi-martial art center designed to offer the best that the martial arts/self defense world has to offer. Training is available in Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do, Personal Defensive Systems, Wing Chun Kung Fu, Filipino Kali/Escrima, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Combat Submission Wrestling, Shaolin Kung Fu, Shaolin Kempo and Qi-Gong.

Our instructors and staff are very friendly and professional and strive to make your learning experience an enjoyable one.
Our Kid’s Programs are especially designed to teach life skills using the martial arts. Our goal is to help them build strong character and strong bodies in order prepare them for life’s challenges. To better organize the classes to meet the needs of the kids we also separate our classes into two age groups: 4 to 6 years old and 7 to 12. AMAC also has specialized programs offering certification in Qi Gong, Holistic Nutrition, Energy stretching as well a programs designed specifically for security, law enforcement, S.W.A.T., and military personnel.
Sifu Alan Baker is a internationally recognized martial arts expert. He has been training continually in the Martial Arts since 1981 and teaching since 1990. In 1999, Alan was inducted into the WHFSC International Martial Arts Hall of Fame; in August 2007, he was awarded the rank of 7th Degree Black Belt by the International Martial Arts Headfounders Grandmasters Council. Mr. Baker is an Official member of the Prestigious International KFM Top Team and a assistant ambassador to the United States.
In the course of his career he has attained the level of black belt or higher in Thirteen disciplines of martial arts as well as multiple instructor level certifications in additional systems under some of the industry’s most renowned leaders such as Dan Inosanto, Pedro Sauer, Francis Fong, Erik Paulson, Greg Nelson, Leo T. Gaje, Jr, Justo Dieguez Serrano, Andy Norman, James Cravens and Paul Vunak. He is one of only a few people in the world to hold Black Belts in such a diverse selection of martial arts.
