I worked at the Federal Building from 1985-88 and had the pleasure of watching Mr. Young train and defend his title via knockout of some guy from Texas in the 3rd round.
Charlton was vicious during his training. When he entered the ring that evening the challenger had a cheering section near the ring. Charlton walked directly to them and stared at them until they quieted down. He was truly an intimidating fighter.
