if you want to finish fights from anywhere, especially the ground, then big sky mma is the gym for you. The jiu jitsu is both good for just jiu jitsu vs. jiu jitsu, or for mixed fighting.
Big Sky MMA is the sleeper of Montana training facilities. Jiu Jistu/MMA instructor Shawn Arnold has over 10 years experience with the art and has a progressional style by constantly staying up to date with innovative styles like 10th planet jj. This style is key for competitive fighters to stay on top of continuously changing sport. After being a student there for over a year I have taken first at jiu jitsu tournaments as well as watched fellow students win multiple MMA fights. Out of 5 martial arts gyms I have trained at in various locations, this is by far the best gym I have ever been to. These victories are with out a doubt due to the excellent training regiment of Big Sky MMA and their expert staff. As a military member I would give this facility a 5 out of 5 stars blowing out any hand to hand combat training received through military training.
Wow ok i have been to alot of gyms and i do have to say that this is the best all around place to be. The classes are interactive and the instructors work with everyone!
Big Sky is a great place for people of all skill levels to come in and quickly pick up what they are teaching. The instructors are very hands on and help you pick up each move step by step and put them into a smooth flow when it comes time to actually roll for both MMA and Jiu-Jitsu.

Very very good BJJ program. Pretty good students and a very skilled coach. Great place for beginners and advanced students alike.
