Loading...Welcome to the Renzo Gracie Academy of Newark- Team Bittencourt, located in the heart on Newark, New Jersey’s Ironbound neighborhood, just a 10 minute walk from Newark Penn Station and Path Trains. We offer classes seven days a week in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
If you would like to learn Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to get into shape, learn self defense, or want to become a serious competitor, our facility is the place to train. In addition, we also offer instruction in MMA, Kyokushin Karate and Conditioning classes, with classes also for kids! We provide a safe and friendly enviornment under the supervision of 3rd Degree Black Belt Romulo Bittencourt, our Head Instructor. We run 24 classes a week, with most of our classes lasting 1 and 1/2 to 2 hours.
We are a proud member of the RENZO GRACIE ASSOCIATION, an elite group of Jiu-Jitsu schools that are held to the highest standard of training, officially endorsed by Renzo Gracie.
