In that time, he has trained with and learned from the legendary Renzo Gracie and finished his journey to Black Belt when he received the honor of that rank from Matt and Nick Serra.
Rich also has a 5th degree Black Belt in American Combat Karate from the legendary Rich Barathy, the man who led the system to popularity in the 70’s and 80’s and has trained and taught his system for over 30 years. Rich has recently opened his own Jiu-Jitsu academy in Lindenhurst and is eager to pass on his many years of competitive and practical training to his students.
