Gracie Jiu-Jitsu remains undefeated for over 75 years. Gracie New York is led by instructors Mike Casey and Gary Gli. We also have an additional location in Westchester County in Tuckahoe.
Mike Casey is the creator of the RapeDefense™ and Kid-Gracie™ Programs has been a “Gracie” student since 1995. Mike has trained with Relson, Royce, Rorion, Rolker, Helio and Renzo, and also Caique and Steve Maxwell. Prior to his Jiu-Jitsu instruction, Michael studied Shotokan Karate for many years under Master Vincent Butta, and has also studied Judo. Michael has earned a reputation for providing patient, articulate, and high-quality instruction, which some students travel far to acquire.
Gary Gli has trained with the Gracie family since 1996 and brings with him over 30 years of martial arts experience from disciplines such as Southern Praying Mantis Kung Fu, Muay Thai and Western Boxing. In addition, Gary also teaches Yoga and is a professional strength trainer.
