Total dump, and if you go to Sherdog and read about the guy, you will see he really isnt that experienced. If you just want a place to roll, this is the place, he cant teach you anything if you have been doing it for years like me. He spends most of his time hitting on the girls that come in, (most are married or have boyfriends) what a douchebag. Place in run down and he offers no structure what so ever, it is just free rolling i guess you would say. 3 Points Karate is awesome and starting a Jiu-Jitsu class, if it is anything like they run the Karate program, it will be awesome. Its unfortunate, I have been a practitioner of BJJ my whole life and really hope Elite would be the place, but it is not. OSU also has a BJJ club, so something to look into if on campus.

i just move here not to long ago. my wife went in to check out the kids class and did not like the place. She said it was one of the dumpest place she she been to in along time. So i went to see it myself and she was right i would never let my kids go in there. i also set through the kids class and it suck so bad i had to get up and leave in the middle of it. my kids have be doing BJJ for a long time and that was the worst kids class i have ever seen.

Also my wife said that Ladell that the guy who is the owner. was coming onto her. If she would have told me this before i went myself i would have punched the guy in the face. i would not let this guy around your wife or woman alone who know what he is really after. but all said the place looks like shit, the class is undisciplined, the kids do what they want and Ladell does not do anything about it. it really looked like they where making it up as they went.

i would not go there if i were you. i hope some one else open up a BJJ class for kids and adualts in Stillwater ok. it would such for him if they did he would lose a lot of business

I have no idea what Joe and John Maxwell are talking about above. I have known Ladell for almost 16 years and he is nothing like these two guys say he is. He is the most down to earth and humble person you will ever meet. He has more knowledge than anyone in his area. He has been involved in the martial arts for 30 years and is a stand up guy. His school is not run down and trashy either. He has plenty of mat space to roll, plenty of heavy bags and pads for a good Muay Thai class and is teaching is top notch. I have been doing martial arts for over 20 years and Ladell is one of the best teachers you will find. He has trained with some of the best martial artist in the world and holds black belts and instructorships under several of them. He is a certified instructor under Guro Dan Inosanto in Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do and the Filippino Martial Arts. That is not an easy thing to obtain. He is also a Representative of Astig Lameco Eskrima under Guro Roger Agbulos. He has years of experience in grappling arts (wrestling, catch wrestling and BJJ) and has rank in BJJ under Professor Leonardo Xavier.

I get the impression that the two guys who posted before me are trying to trash talk Ladell and ECS because they more than likely train else where. I encourage everyone to stop by ECS and see for yourself what the school, the classes and Ladell are like.

If you train some where else that is fine but don’t go on forums and sites like this and post flat out lies. Anyone who knows Ladell will tell you he is a stand up guy who knows his stuff.
