Beau Clark, Head Instructor and Owner, began his experience in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 1988 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Under the guidance of Relson Gracie, Beau gained a firm understanding of techniques and philosophy Gracie Jiu Jitsu as one of Relson’s first students upon his arrival to the US. In 1995 Beau began training with Grappler’s Edge in Denver, Colorado. Grappler’s Edge was the home to many of the region’s top grappler’s with varied backgrounds ranging from Olympic level Jukoda to NCAA champion wrestlers. This opportunity allowed Beau to expand his skill set by incorporating Judo and wrestling takedowns into his submission game. 2003 marked the end of Beau’s competition era as he was invited to compete in the Abu Dhabi Combat Challenge in San Paulo, Brazil. Upon returning to the states Beau focused his efforts on training individuals ranging from 12 to 74 years old.
