ECS Sambo/Jiu-Jitsu
The ECS Sambo/Jiu-Jitsu program is designed with everyone in mind! The program is based on elemental components taken from Sambo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Japanese Ju-Jitsu, Judo and Collegiate Wrestling. Equal emphasis is placed on throwing, take-downs, ground maneuvers and submissions. This program will include both gi (uniform) and no-gi (no uniform) training.
Whether you are a high-school student looking to dominate during the wrestling season, a fighter looking to improve your ground game, or someone who just wants to learn how to neutralize the attack of a person twice their size, this program is for you! Earning rank in ECS Jiu-Jitsu will produce a well-rounded and strong grappler. As students progress in this program, they will cultivate both ground and stand-up skills to become a dominate force!
ECS Combat Sambo/MMA
The ECS MMA/Combat Sambo program allows you the opportunity to take advantage of a variety of martial art styles and methods, plus develop your game for competition, should you seek that avenue.
This program focuses on various techniques and strategies adopted from the ECS Sambo/Jiu-Jitsu program and from both Western and Muay Thai Kickboxing fundamentals as well as a wide range of other Martial Arts. The eclectic training approach has proven itself time and time again. Learn how to tie your stand-up skills and your ground skills together as well as focus on self-defense applications in addition to competition.
Training in ECS MMA/Combat Sambo includes a customized approach designed to take into account your areas of strength. As students progress in training, they will become experts in an eclectic fighting style and master the best of all worlds!
by far the best place I ever trained. for years I trained in ground game only but with Coach Grants sambo/judo portion of training, you learn many combat and competition throws and finishes. The first fight school where I trained in throws, take downs and ground game equally. i suggest this school for anyone who wants to expand their knowledge in total combat/competition fighting. This is a combat school 1st, competition, either way, you will be prepared for both. Coach Grant has many years experience in many martial arts styles including JUDO, Japanese Ju jitsu, brazilian jiu jitsu, sambo and wrestling. A very knowledgable instructor with many years experience in coaching and competition fighting and grappling.
