We offer instruction in BJJ, which is great for anyone whether your goal is to compete, reduce stress, build confidence or simply get in phenomenal shape all while having fun and learning to protect yourself.
Our brand of Jiu Jitsu offers a unique and dynamic approach that is geared to sport competition as well as the self-defense aspect of the art. We can promise you will receive high quality instruction in every class, along with a challenging and friendly training environment. 360’s mission is to have our students become well versed in each area of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and become better individuals both on and off the mat.
Head Instructor Scott Huston began training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu while he was stationed in San Diego, California serving as a Marine Corps Marital Arts Instructor. He has been practicing BJJ for eight years and has over 10 years of martial arts experience and instruction. Scott currently holds the rank of Brown Belt and is highly regarded by many as one of the most technical and top notch grapplers in the region. Scott is also one of the most active and accomplished competitors in the state with numerous titles to his credit. Some of his titles include: 2x Pan American Champion, winning gold in his category over the past two years (09’ and 10’), 4x North American Grappling Association (NAGA) Champion, and Arnold Gracie BJJ Classic Champion. In addition, Scott was voted 2008 “Grappler of Year” and is currently the #1 ranked grappler in Wisconsin, according to Wisconsin Combat Sports. Scott holds a BS degree in Kinesiology from the UIC and is currently a certified personal trainer. His goal is to educate people of all ages on the importance of maintaining a healthy body and mind through fitness and martial arts.
The techniques, cleanliness, and the number of quality training partners continue to make it worth my time and money. Techniques are taught in patterns or in groups which help you learn to develop a game much quicker, not just a bunch youtube video moves.
