I stopped in this place after seeing these guys do well in an event the previous weekend. They welcomed me in on a free training session. It was the hardest thing I have done in a long time. The instructor seemed to break everything down for me when he got to the teaching portion of class and I really learned a lot. I plan to join the gym next month. The guys were all super nice.

I saw these guys compete at an event. By far the best team with the best fighters. Their coach was doing a great job coaching and the guys were listening so well while fighting, it was crazy. They know their stuff.

i am a member of this gym and i love it. We may not be the fanciest gym with a bunch of black belts on staff and a full cage, but we know our s**t and do it well. it is important that we train hard and always maintain a sense of respect, and humility for everyone that steps in the door. we are a small gym and really just starting to make a name for ourselves so come check us out, it really is a life altering experience.

I am a member of this school, and I would recommend that anyone interested in MMA training come and see what CombatInc. has to offer. Now, some people tend to harp on the lok of a MMA school, but I assure you looks can be deceiving… I say that from experience. I can assure you that our training does not lack in intensity, and mr. Perkins has proven that he knows a thing or two about MMA training. Mr. Perkins also strives to keep the atmosphere fun and relaxed, but at the same time pushing the intensity. I am not the kind of man that degrades other schools or trainers..there are many fine schools and instructors in the area. However, i have thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Combat Inc., and look forward to seeing it’s growth. MMA is growing in Kentucky, and the instructors at Combat Inc. are helping to contribute to that growth. Come by and see for yourself…I feel that you will be impressed by what you see.

everytime i’ve seen these guys fight at a show they get knocked the f*ck out.

  • antonio pantoja says:

The post above is pretty shitty because you can obviously [anonymously] post whatever you want on here. “c.griffin” is a fictitious name for Chris Griffin who DID NOT say that. Chris Griffin runs an academy as well and we are very close knit with these guys. Chris is one hell of a great dude and thinks very highly of all of the Combat INC guys. They are the real deal, they are great guys, and I’m sorry that someone came on here and tried to stir something up. That’s pathetic. Anyhow (just so that we don’t lose sight of the real message), Combat INC IS the real deal, check their records…they have some of the top fighters in the region. I’m proud to have been able to have trained with them.

I’ve trained everywhere in town and Combat Inc. is light years ahead of the others. For MMA/Vale Tudo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu there is no body else in town that can really help you. A couple of other places on Dixie Hwy. put on a good show and talk big, but they’re really just a bunch of hillbillies from Shively.

We do it the right way at Combat Inc…the Brazilian way.

Train for real. Train at Combat Inc. The martial arts place with the little horsey logo is lame.

  • Chris Griffin says:

Noticed this the other day my name is Chris Griffin. I did not make the post under C. Griffin, not sure who that is and what is going on. I respect anyone that steps in the cage and I am not the guy to bad mouth anyone.

  • PPerkins says:

Ya, that was kinda crappy for someone to do, kinda funny they would try it. People love sit and type and think tough. Critisize the guys that really train.

So this video was posted in late 2008. First mma fight. Thats exciting! I’m glad to hear that in less than 3 years you have mastered MMA to the point that you are ready to train others. Keep up the good work, bro.

Who is villekill anyway. Never been to our gym.

And I didnt fight the first month I trained like these guys out here. Probably like you and your little cronies. I trained for 3 years before I fought. IM glad you have mastered the art of being a little insecure about things. Whats your rank anyway, and how long have you been training. Let me guess. 15 years. You did tkd as a kid…
and started doing half ass mma a few years ago like everyone else.

We have great students, work ethic, and our record says enough about if we are good or not. We are among the top places to train mma in town. And that ill stand by that.
