We are Denton County’s first (since 1998) and premier MMA school with many helpful black belt instructors of varied martial arts backgrounds. Head coaches Tery Corkran (multiple Black belt and 3rd degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under the world renowned Carlos Machado) and Joe Christopher (BJJ Brown Belt & MMA Pro) are multiple BJJ Nationals and Pan-Americans Champions with many other grappling and MMA victories to the school’s credit.
Whether your child needs to deal with bullies or simply needs some self-discipline, our kids program will develop self-confidence, respect, self-defense skills and conditioning. As well as Adults BJJ, we offer daily Teen & Adult classes in MMA, Muay Thai, Kick Boxing, Conditioning, Boxing, and Women’s Self-Defense. Our head coaches and black belt instructors provide a fully qualified and still family atmosphere designed for meeting all of your goals in the martial arts. Regardless of whether your goal is to simply get fit while you learn to defend yourself in a positive way or to become an MMA champion, we are certain that NTMMA has what you need.
