Loading...Here at Tech Mixed Martial Arts Academy in Christiansburg, Virginia, we provide well-structured Martial Arts and Fitness Programs with an elite group of instructors and disciplines. Some schools on the martial arts mainly are concentrating on one art for sparring/competition and maybe forms: This does not make you a martial artist! We do compete, but we also make sure our students can and will take care of themselves and others in the real world! We offer instruction in Taekwondo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Krav Maga and Kickboxing.
Most Competitions are not reality fighting nor are they the real world! We provide well rounded systems to make you the best you can be within the styles you have chosen, with no restriction on what you may or may not want to study! You cannot achieve balance in only one style, as someone else will overcome you! We place a strong emphasis on discipline and respect. We look forward to serving you and your family.
Lots to be said about this gym… it’s an astonishing gym, if it’s fearsomely and ginormous size doesn’t get you maybe the fine flourishing equipment will. They are Fortunate enough to have a full sized cage and full sized ring. however don’t let that fool you on the size, the full size steel cage and full size ring don’t even take up more then 1/4 of the place it’s an enormous training academy, in fact they are holding a sanctioned fight under the (CFC) May,1 of 2010 at the academy it’s self! okay so lets say it still hasn’t convinced you? yeah equipments good but your the kind of guy who is worried more about the knowledge and training, then the size and equipment? well look no further the owner Mr Perry Gibson is not only a direct decedent from Joe Lewis but holds black belts in numerous disciplines and has been considered “one of the best Krav teachers on the east coast”. Tech’s Ground game is just as similar to there stand up. Strong and feared throughout all of VA. and who’s to blame with Mr. Tim Mannon a direct Black belt under Renzo Gracie and a Professional cage fighter.
